During the Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC) 5th annual Women in Energy Conference, the caribbean economist and advisor Marla Dukharan, spoke to the audience about how fuel subsidies benefit higher net-worth individuals over lower net worth individuals. During the discussion, CUC Chief Executive Officer, Richard Hew addressed the matter by adding that CUC has been advocating for more energy efficiency in new homes.
